Chatbot startup, Convrg, needed a facelift before emerging from stealth phase.
Armed with user interviews, feedback from extensive goal-setting meetings with the Convrg founders, and exhaustive market research, I set to work redesigning the Convrg homepage. The priority was to create an engaging, informative experience for potential investors and future clients and to generate conversion. In this case, conversion is measured by the number of users who request a demo, follow Convrg on Twitter, send an email for further questions, etc. I achieved this by providing a clear and concise explanation of what Convrg is offering, and then employing calls to action (CTA) at every critical chapter of the site.
In addition to pen+paper sketching, and whiteboarding, I used Sketch and InVision to complete the wireframes, mockups and clickable prototype for Convrg's site.

Strategic planning, background research and ideation...
Strategic planning to ensure that the site would remain relevant and scalable as the business progresses into future phases of funding and development.
In order to differentiate themselves from the rest of the market, we worked with Convrg co-founders to find a color palette and typography plan that reflects their innovative, fresh, and friendly brand. While the black and white of the original site was "sexy", it didn't actually say anything about who or what Convrg had to offer. Also, a quick survey of the competition showed that most other chatbot companies were using black and white or blue as their primary color scheme. After some brand exercises including mood boarding word associations, we decided to explore warmer tones, which brought us to the fuchsia palette. Further, Google Analytics data for the original site indicated that conversion rates were very low, with only a few new contacts every month, so we agreed it was worth experimenting with the new color scheme in this first phase of design.
